I've been using the HP Stream 14" Laptop since November 2024, and I have to say, it’s a fantastic little device for the price! Right now, I’m actually writing this review on it, and it’s handling everything smoothly.

One of the best things about this laptop is how lightweight and compact it is—perfect for carrying around. The battery life is impressive, lasting hours on a single charge, which means I don’t have to stress about finding an outlet during the day.

It has a sleek, stylish design that looks great, and despite its budget-friendly price, it doesn’t feel cheap. Performance-wise, it zips along pretty quickly for everyday tasks like web browsing, streaming movies, and working on documents. While it’s not the fastest laptop out there, it works a treat for programs and apps that don’t demand too much memory.

Overall, if you’re looking for a budget-friendly laptop that’s portable, reliable, and stylish, the HP Stream 14" is a solid choice. Pretty good value for money!

It's not the fastest laptop but is more than adequate for web browsing, word processing, or doing spreadsheets. FM '24 works fine as long as you don't try to run too many leagues.
The years free use of Office makes it a very good buy for the money.

Great budget laptop.
I see a lot of negative reviews for this, but I think that's because people are expecting a lot more bang for they're buck.
At this price you cannot expect a lot!
I bought this for doing online courses and it works perfectly for that, with the free 365 use for a year is brilliant.
Yes sometimes you have to wait a few seconds for some things to open but it's not unexpected at this price.
It plays angry birds very well if u need some distraction.
My only disappointment is the web cam quality, from the inbuilt camera it's very poor but streaming from my phone is brilliant so it's not terminal.
Screen is also good and clear enough for me
Touchpad is sensitive with good spacing between the keys
Set up was easy with not too many updates, but to make sure u are completely up to date u need to go into settings and manually update a few bits but it's very easy.
It's very thin and light and boots up and shuts down quickly.
All in all I like it, does light tasks easily and the battery lasts a good few hours too.
Don't expect too much for the price and u won't go wrong.

I bought this to use my web cam to store videos. It only saves one 4 minute video and shuts down and says the hard drive is full. I have nothing else on this laptop, no facebook, no emails NOTHING. It was bought for the sole purpose of web cam videos of my family.

Needed a new laptop to replace my old one. After reading the many reviews and just needing one for minimal use, I got it. Came this morning. Great colour and I found it easy to set up, following the on screen instructions. Keyboard is great and the screen is crystal clear. I’m not a huge computer user at home so I don’t need a super high tech one. The set up was quick and a lot faster loading than my old one. For the price, it is perfect for my needs and I’m very happy with it.

No problems getting set up & I separately bought & downloaded McAfee protection code easily. Bonus to have Microsoft Office for a year. Overall very pleased - suits my light-use needs. Seems to respond efficiently.
