Tips

A really professional Rechargeable Dog Grooming kit for thick coats, which our dog actually enjoys.
These dog clippers from YOOGOAL feel really solid and come with a wealth of extras, ideal for our dog's thick / heavy coat of hair. There are 6 guide combs for dogs and cats (1.5, 3, 4.5, 6, 10, and 13mm), and surprisingly our dog welcomed this new grooming device straight away with excitement. We not tried it on our cat yet, the cat seems to be quite happy at the moment watching our dog being groomed, while the cat stays distant in the background, but her much needed day will come !. It uses USB charging, and a high performance motor, running at up to 6500 rpm, and yet noise of less than 55db when running, so will not terrify our poor beloved pet. The LED smart display shows the remaining battery level, and once fully charged shows '99' on the LED display, As the makes YOOGOAL say, "it effortlessly cuts through your dog's hair like butter.", I just wish our dog had the same 'smile' when the bath is running for him ! Can I make one suggestion (only from my experience), but wait for a sunny day. I initially used it indoors first, and once finished our dog shook the loose hairs all over the room, the way dog's do. So next time I will use outside in the garden on a nice dry day. I have included 7 images of the Professional dog clippers in and out the packing, and some of the images are the makers original description images, thank you for such a useful and fun product too.

These arrived in a no frills box with a plastic tray already damaged in transit, this is a bit of a shame as the box is usually the best place to store the clippers when not in use. I clipped our spaniel at the weekend so rather than waiting another 3 months to test these I had a good look at them to provide an initial review. I like the physical switch on the side of the clippers, my own set have a button in the middle of the grip which I keep pressing accidentally whilst using them, I also like the metal blades on these they look to be capable and sturdy. When switching these on they were a bit noisy, also the oil indicator light stayed lit so I guessed that they were dry. A drop of the provided oil quietened the buzzing and turned the indicator light off. They are not silent so nervous dogs are not going to like them, they are not expensive either though so I think they are a good set to have a go with. I have found that home clipping is a time consuming process taking around two hours to complete, it can save you quite lot of money though so there's that to factor in.
Cheaply presented, a little buzzy, they look well built though
